I just swapped the trackpad on a 2300c for a trackball from a 280. The metal chassis in the 280 has a lump which means that the 2300 top cover (with trackpad), won't fit. Short of going to the chassis with a hacksaw, or the trackpad with a knife, I dont see an easy workaround. Top from 280 with trackball fits 2300c chassis (which doesn't have the interfering lump) just fine. Oh, www.lowendmacs.net has info on graphics cards for 68K machines. nick g >I just subscribed to this list.
