Hey - I went thru a problem with a stylewriter II with a Powerbook 520. It
would print from some applications but not all. OS 7.6.1. I finally got it to
work by turning Background printing <off> in the chooser. It slows things
down way too much anyways. The Stylewriter 1200 driver will work, and see the
combo printer/modem port, which was a problem I had with earlier OS's and
Drivers There is also a software download from Apple about Stylewriter
software for PowerBooks, but I don't remember exactly what it does. Maybe
this will help a little.
P.S. The software is Stylewriter II 1.2
