I also have noticed the delay in the charging icon.
Please note, that I see this delay in my TiBook also.
The battery with the red X is another problem. For
some reason the computer thinks that the battery is
bad. Either the battery is really bad, or the computer
is wrong. The fact is batteries do die, and not always
in a slow way. I have seen Li-on batteries last only
two months. There is a fuse on the mother board that
if blown could also cause this problem. I would think
twice before blaming DT&T on the fuse issue. If your
power supply was faulty, then the fuse did its job by
not burning the motherboard. So, how does all this
help you...I do not know. I was just feeling left out,
and needed a smart remark from Brandy.

battery with my 2400 it see if it really works.
