Sounds like the connector for the cartridge is going (contacts that make onto
the cartridge...ink actually ate several of them off the flex cable). I had
an HP to do the same thing, swapped the cartridge tray with one I salvaged
from a junk machine. Unit still works today. Unfortunately, I have no SWII
parts....sorry.
