Also, remember that the IrDa in the 2400,3400,Kanga is IrDA 1.0, and
everything since is 1.1. There's a difference in range and bandwidth and
probably more.
I could never get my 2400 to use any IrDA cell phone (tried Ericssons and
Mots), but everything I've tried since iMac, Wall Street and newer works
great!
CORRECTION!!! The Nokia's DO work fine with the 2400 in my experience. That
includes the 8210 (EU and Asia equivalent of 8290) and the 8250 (unique to
Euro and Asia) at least with ARA.
