Listies I have a question!
A friend has asked me to upgrade her 7600/132 PPC desktop 192 Meg of Ram to a 400MHz
G3. That?s the easy part. Since so many people on the list have gone to G3 upgrades
I would like some recommendations from people as to which processor upgrade company
would be the best bet to buy from. Information such as how do you like the upgrade,
does it work well, how is the service of the company etc. any problem I should be
aware of before I tell her which one to buy? The Choices are Sonnet, Power Logic, and
Newer Tech!
Now if this was my computer I would just sell it and buy a G4 (Maybe toss it off the
balcony just for fun). But she?s kind of attached to it and it could get messy having
to toss her over the side as well. LOL
So I have agreed to do the work but would really like the information if you could
take just a few minutes to send me a few emails.
