Don't knock the MacPortable. Eight years of use without one problem;
runs on origional battery and longer than my 270c, 2300c and 2400c;
excellent keyboard and trackball; always awakens from sleep even after
very long periods of time; the world on a floppy; and easy to upgrade
without a microscope. Having hauled a MacPlus around in a portable case
the weight reduction of the portable was amazing. While it doesn't fit
in my Wetsuit 3.0 it has never had a GLOD.
