I have a 2300 display which has the same problem. I've temporarily
set it aside, and built a complete 2300 out of another basket case, but
I've got to get around to fixing it one day. I am assuming that the video
cable is at fault, because when I got it, reseating the video cable in the
jack made one of the two stripes go away (each one is one eighth of the
display), but this didn't work again, and disassempling the lid and
reseating the other end of the cable didn't do it either. One of these
days I'll get brave and invest in a good cable and replace it, but I'm only
about 50% sure that will do it. I hope you can fix yours. Please post
when you do.
