The cable/enclosure/terminator work with other Macs. I haven't yet
tried other ID's to see if that has any effect. The internal drive
was initially installed but it wouldn't spin. I thought it might
have been causing the SCSI ID problem, so I removed it. Is there
no auto-termination in a Duo because you're never supposed to have
the drive removed? This 2300c arrived with an old 160MB SCSI disk
installed, but the cable looks strange - does anyone know how to
identify whether I have an IDE or SCSI cable? The 2300 uses either
but I don't have both to compare. Perhaps the 2300 doesn't
terminate the internal SCSI unless an IDE device is installed(???).
