Perhaps someone could reiterate the problem?  Because, from what I've seen,
it is standard behavior for some of these utilities to report 7 instances of
the CD drive (but only with certain CD drivers I think).  However, it
doesn't impact access at all.

(I've forgotten if it was a CD that was appearing many times, or a HD...)
