I use a tool called Pre Lister that seems to be a happy medium between the
graphics and music laden ads and the stark no picture text ad. You can find
it at <http://www.blackmagik.com/> no I don't work for them, but their
software sure has worked for me! I also avoid bidding on reserve price
auctions because most people set unrealistic reserves. I have seen stuff go
on ebay for more than you could buy a brand new one. There are a lot of
uneducated/lazy bidders out there who think that if it's on ebay it must be
a cheap price.
