Have you tried deleting the invisible Appleshare PDS file on your
hard drive as well as the User & Groups prefs file?

An easy way to replace the invisible file is to save a file from
simpletext or whatever with the same name "Appleshare PDS," to the
harddrive level, click replace , then trash it and restart.

Had no problem with large files -I turn on file sharing on the lowest
OS machine, share a folder, then choose Appleshare from the chooser
of the other machine. Voila! (minimal experience with OS 9)

(Surprising to hear what they do with their cats down in Victoria!
Sounds like she got a premature system buzz.)
