Do these batteries just "come back to life"?
I think many batteries will, when the load is remove, rebound slightly in voltage, and
maybe work a bit.
When you leave your lights on in your car for a couple hours, and turn them off,
waiting
ten minuets will redistribute the ions (?) and kick it over.
The kind of thing you describe just happened with my 2300c, and I hope it was some
unlikely concatenation of circumstances that unplugging it and reinstalling meant it
would work indefinitely; $23.+ on ebay is best avoided. What do these cost in a Mac
store--anyone know?
Also, I got the impression from a post I read recently that when the 2300 is plugged in
to the duodock, the PRAM battery isn't draining--the dock is supplying the electrons?
