Waaaahhh!!!! Crap. I have waited so long for something small and light like
this. But you are right..obviously would be very hazardous on a plane, etc.
I have to think about other people and preventing possible injury. Besides,
it will be no good for me if my new one catches fire too!

I don't know much about other lists--this is the only one i have ever
needed! So I welcome any suggestions about where I should write about this.

Where can I find that? Do i need to subscribe?

They haven't said anything about that to me. But there has been a delay in
shipping my powerbook (maybe they saw yesterday's post--lol). I think I
should wait til i actually get it before posting just to make sure they
send me one.

Gah, that book is too big! (For me) I think if the iBook doesn't work out I
will probably wait and see what Apple comes up with next. But it will be a
huge bummer cos I already can't do a lot of the media stuff I used to be
able to on the 2400 cos there's not enough RAM and it's not a G3. (like
streaming RealAudio, etc)

Okay, i will look for them. Why do you say "Especially since..."? Is that
because you feel people there could be a lot of iBooks going up in smoke
but no one talking about it?

Thanks for your feedback, guys. I had assumed this was just a fluke, but
you're right--I should be responsible and let people know.
