Marc--you raise a really good point. I hadn't thought of mixin'n'matchin'
the other way (DOWN from 9.1 instead of UP from 8.6). Heck, now I get the
idea that when I get time I might even try hacking the GUI in Sherlock 2 in
ResEdit or Resourcer with Sherlock 1. (I run ultra-thin window frames on the
2400). The ram overhead seems to greater by about 2-3 mb in 9.1 over 8.6. Do
you find the same? I'll see what the next release of OSX brings too before I
"invest" the time. Maybe you're up for hacking it in the meantime? :-)
