I can't seem to get my Duo 2300 to power up with the battery. With the wall
supply, no problems, the computer reports the battery there and shows it
being charged. I have tried several batteries and nothing changes it.

I have closely examined the contacts and the battery how it mates to the
contacts and all looks well, I have also measured battery voltage at the
motherboard and it shows the power there.

I do not show any power on the inside contacts, just the outer ones marked +
and -.

(Yes, I am in the business of working on boards like this, component level
repair, but usually I have a schematic and a clue about what it is I am
working on! <g>)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thomas Martin
