I did hear it, it comes up and stays up. That is one of my fears what the
driver would bring it up, then if no PW, it would shut the drive back down.
At least they didn't do that that would be a real pain!
I am antiquated, I have Silverlining 5.7, it doesn't support IDE.
Here is one area that PC users have the advantage over Mac users. They
don't need a 3rd party util to format or mount any drive, SCSI or IDE.
