I dont think its the backlight tube, as the one in my problem screen is still plenty bright. My next move is to swap out the inverter board from a screen that doesnt have this problem and see if that fixes it. >The vendor (adeal.com on eBay) has been terrific, they _instantly_ sent a >replacement screen, but unfortunately that shows the same 'defect(?)'. I never noticed this effect with the PB250 screen >I'd been using, though maybe I never left it on continuously for as long. >The original 2300C screen also works great. I cant think of a reason it would be something other than the screen. >Am I being too demanding with this? Is this normal or are both these >screens 'faulty'? This isnt normal, but several people have noticed this on a few screens. >Thanks in advance, > >Dan thanks, Mad Dog ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
