I don't know about >the IDE or USB based drives or any CD burners. There is a hack which makes it possible to boot off just about any CD. I have it but I forget where I found it. How about trying MacFixit? It hacks the Apple CD/DVD Driver.
I've used it to boot off a CD I didn't have a driver for and it worked with no problem. Yours sincerely, John Davis ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
