Another update:

I finallly found my meter and started working some more. But it might have
to wait as I think I blew something out in both of my Duo Docks. The first
one (original Duo Dock) started smoking as soon as I booted up the Duo. And
the second one (DD Plus) outputs only in solid grey video on external
monitor and I still haven't figured how to get the Duo's screen to run yet.
I know of a source of Duo Docks so I could pick up some cheap or even almost
free and I'll be looking in that after Thanksgiving weekend.

Oh yeah, my "geniua pig" 230 had been reduced to booting off only floppy
disk as it wouldn't boot off of the internal HD even though the same HD
works OK in my 280c. And it wouldn't boot off of the Duop Dock's HD or the
external SCSI drives. I don't know how I blew it out.

Lastly, anyone have a spare 270c or 280c screen in good cosmetic shape
(working or not) as I had a bit of trouble with a stripped T-6 screw and
ended up breaking the back piece. Drilling out the screw was a really bad
idea after all since there's almost nothing but plastic. This was part of
my HD light add on.
