I've had this laptop since about 1998/99, so I'm sure it didn't already have the upgrade. I tried the FireWire 2 Go a few times before, but , when I would pop the card in, a "Card" icon would appear on the desktop, but the name field under it would be blank ... like [].
If I find out that it was already enabled (d'oh) I'll just attach some new wires.
