Hello,

I would like to add a few things:

1) Magnets can indeed harm a laptop computer. In the German train INTERREGIO
foldable tables
are installled. Two small but powerfull magnets hold the table in the
upright position.
As stated in our newspapers these magnets have so far destroyed two toshiba
notebooks - or
to be more precicely their hard disks. So, next time be careful!

2) My Duo is behaving in the same way as yours but only when it is used in
the dock for a longer
time (more than an hour or so). My father's cube is showing the same
symptoums but only when
a cd is inside the drive. The cd inside the cube seems to either produce mor
heat by the spinning
drive or it blocks air supply inside the cube's case.

3) Given these facts I have conducted the following silly experiment:
-Removed the working battery
-Put an old non working battery in the refrigherater overnight
-Put the ice cold battery inside the duo and the duo in the dock.
Result: No freezing or crashes anymore!
I have conducted this experiment three times so far, and I would like to say
that the results hint
that you and I have a heat problem with our duos.

It might be adviseable to remove the battery from the duo as soon as it is
charged, so that it
doesn't produce any more heat.

Best Regards

Karsten
