Just to reinforce Chuck and Mike's points: I had a university account that
could have covered a TiBook or even a desktop dual-processor plus 22"
display for that matter.  For nearly two years, I didn't use a penny of it
till the iceBook came out.

Remember the old-fashioned computer purchasing guide: It's not how much
computer you can buy, but how much computer you actually need.  Be
pragmatic.  When I replace my iceBook it will be for a smaller and lighter
version (if Steve obliges).
