> Hello everyone I agree with Paul talk to the upper ranks first, ignore the middle guy that may be trying to cover up his mistake. No Company is perfect. I purchased a 2400 with paperwork to prove that MCE had done the upgrades on the powerbook. Upon taking it apart to upgrade the Hard drive to a 6 gig, I found loose screws and a cracked keyboard caused by the over tightening of one of the screws that hold it in place. I also found a missing screw in one f the locations that holds one of the shielding. This screw was no wear to be found inside the 2400( thank goodness). I understand that MCE does great work . And there are plenty of testimonials to back this up. My point is that , when you run a company you will have to hire and fire people as your staff looks for work else wear . Through the years you will find inconsistencies
in the level of work coming from a company or especially a service. What ultimately determines the final judgment is how a manager ,president or the company itself as a whole deals with you in it's final resolution of an issue. Until a last word has been stamped out By DT&T, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Communication can solve everything if both parties deal with each other in an equitable manner. I wish you good luck and suggest you follow Pauls advice. There is a time for pressure but this is a last resort . I would not respond well to threats or bullying. Just remember that a legal battle is one of money and time . Rarely do you ever come away with more than just your pound of flesh , and that will get you no wher.
