Helloooo Carlson I didn't even know about the 2400 when it came out. I was looking at the 3400c as it was the only desktop replacement available to us canucks. It was only after surfing the japanese sights that I learned of the 2400. I was in Japan last year and saw a used 2400c with all clear case on display in a Mac store in ginza. Wow!!! I thought to myself, cool, small, and fast (g3 240mhz was posted on it) and a Li-ion batt. I desperately tried to comunicate with the shop owner he told me "not for sale"in barely understandable english. (still better than my japanese). Dennied !!!! It was OK cause I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to afford it. I got back to Canada, looked high and low and finaly last October, bought a used 2400 from a seller in the U.S. And I' ve been hooked since , so much so that I used
every extra penny that I had to purchase 4 in total . My wife uses one as well now. My financial situation changed after I graduated early last December. I could probably afford a G4 Ti book in the spring or summer. That however won't happen. Were in Canada do you live? Maybe anyone else who is a cannuck can chime in and let the rest of us know of your existance. maybe even help each other out . Cheers Carlos Carlson wrote: > Another Canadian!
