The highest cap "A" cells I have found were 2150 mAh cells from Sanyo, the highest AA cells 1900 mAh cells from another company I can't recall right now (green covers as opposed to the yellow Sanyo uses). There was a website that advert'ed some 2700 mAh 4/5th A cells....but I never could get any and they later revised it to 2150 mAh...must have been a typo or a cell that had problems at the high rated capacity. Use nickel metal hydride (NiMH) cells for best life. Lithium/air cells are not commercially available in cell form....can't just swap them into the case and plug them in, so we're limited to NiMH cells for the moment. Anyone remember the science fiction "ShipStone" batteries? Wish I had one now! Andrew ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
