There are two possible modems.

One is a Global Village Mercury.

If you have the Global Village one, you need to get the drivers for it. Try
ftp.globalvillage.com

Also, look in the archives for the list (follow the link in the footer of
each message) for one of the 50 or so times this has been brought up...

Well after much hair pulling I managed to get AppleTalk off the Modem port
but the internal modem still doesn't respond. I'm beginning to think the
modem is defective. Could it be simply turned off?
