Well, two questions: 1.) Have you installed the Express Modem software? (It isn't included in a regular OS install, it's a separate download. 2.) If so, as someone else pointed out, it might be a Global Village Modem instead of an Apple Modem. IIRC, the Global Village modem has a black/gray plastic connector for the phone line, and the Apple one has a White one...of course, I might have that backwards. (Check the archives) ftp.globalvillage.com is a good start, but they might only have updaters. Check the link below to the Mac-2400 website, which has a link or two to functioning archives for the list. You will likely find a link in there.
