A coprocessor divide by zero is more than likely going to be a software issue. Do you get the same error when booting off floppy? More than likely, something has gotten seriously broken early on in the boot process of the OS. Do you ever get to a Happy Mac at all, even for a moment? >I really like this duo, and I've got quite a bit on it. I like my Duos as well :) Shouldn't be too difficult to get any data off the drive even if you can't get it booted from the HD. >I do have a RAM disk on the computer with disk first aide, but it hasn't >come up when I've rebooted the computer. RAM Disks are generally volatile. That is, once the computer is off, it's gone. If you only do a Special-Restart it should retain it, but if you do a complete shutdown it's probably gone. There are various options for saving the contents to disk, however. Good luck! Scott Holder ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
