I just purchased a interesting battery to use with my 280c and 2300c, which
seems to keep them running for 3 plus hours. I no longer have my 2400c, so I
have no idea how long it would run on the battery pack. It is an external
battery pack, with a power inverter built into the power supply. It is
fairly small, about 6" wide and 7" tall with a nylon case with strap for
transporting.

The best part of the battery pack is that it cost $20 and allows me to use
my Duo off site for about as long as I really need to work and I still have
my regular battery for backup if need be. It is made by Vector Manufacturing
in Hollywood FL and I got mine here in Wisconsin at a Farm & Fleet store.

Just a thought!

Tom
