Rob, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I don't have an external drive, don't even have a SCSI mac to do SCSI-Disk-Mode anymore. Disassemblying the 2400 will be my last resort.
I finally managed to get it to boot to OpenFirmware, anyone here remember the syntax to boot from a different partition? jake > Do you have an external hard drive with a known good software on it that > you could boot from?
