Teri: Pop the top on the dock, connect the CD to the SCSI port via a normal Mac 50 pin ribbon cable and go to town. If you have an HD connected, you can do the same thing if you have a 3 connector cable (one for the dock, one for the HD and one for the CD). Make sure the SCSI addresses don't conflict! You can boot off the Dock HD and then load software from the CD. If you're worried about power supply loading, use an external supply....just make sure that the two units are plugged into the same outlet/strip whatever (avoids ground loop problems). I've got a dock with an old 1/3 height CD mounted in it....works OK, but nothing to look at. Works well when you need to load software, tho!
