Sounds like you have to get down to the normally low probability things.
The totality of your descriptions seem to me to point at either a common
(and bad) buy of video cards or cables.  You might try reseating all the
video cards and cables.  The third possibility is EMI.  Is there some nearby
electromagnetic source, possibly an electric motor (on a pump or air
conditioning system) that may have started to go bad?  Also, since you
mention that there's a mix of UPS and direct wallplug usage, are these all
on the same electrical power circuit within that building?  (Not that I see
how this can impact the UPS-ed one, but we're clutching at straws here.)
