I have the same symptoms when trying to recondition a type 2 battery inI'm almost sure I get a white screen with a little white on black battery
either my 270c or my 280c. I think that the battery is just too far gone
to be resurrected. It sure it scary to see that nonsense though.. (flick,
flick) When it is really reconditioning a battery, you see a simple icon
on a black screen.
icon moving around the screen. After all, power isn't exactly a problem
when you're plugged into the wall, so there is no need to power the
screen at a lower level.
