Wade, I agree and will add that if I were going the opposite direction, i.e., from cold to hot, I think the last thing I would do is wait an hour, allowing all that condensation to form, and then fire up the machine. I would turn the machine on immediately upon making the transition, if not before, attempting to bring the machine to above dew point as quickly as possible. On the other hand, in going from hot to cold, Alan's advice to let the machine cool down a bit before turning on is good (but not for condensation). The specs say the operating range is bounded at the top end by 95F. PA has had quite a few days this summer close to that temperature. I transport my 2400 from job to job in a BLACK bookbag in an un-airconditioned vehicle. In fact, the day my 2400 quit, it was hot.
