I don't use the adapter on my G3, because I have a voodoo card installed
that uses the smaller PC video out. I was able to hook up the dock to a
smaller, 13 or 15 inch monitor (PC) and it sort of worked... I could see
what was on the screen, but the refresh rate is too high, so the picture
sort of scrolls really fast down the screen. I was able to open the
monitors control panel, but was unable to specify any other resolution. The
only one available was 640x480 at 85Hz. I need to change this to make it
work correctly. How do I specify a different monitor? I am using 7.6.1.
