O.K., don't quote me on this one, but, I'm pretty sure that Apple just made
one PPC logic board for all Duo upgrades and the 2300. The only difference was
that the upgrade came preassembled in a case bottom, primarily for shipping
purposes and some installation ease to reduce cost. Since the 2300 was based
on the same logic board, they could design around a video pin configuration to
accommodate both. Remember, this is the same company that shipped "Plus"
upgrade logic boards for 512ks with a "Plus" case back(!) to accommodate the
new port placement, rather than manufacture a custom upgrade board.
