I don't think you can just swap the trackball from another duo in, BUT
there is a 'trackball retrograde' kit made just for this reason. Try
powerbookguy.com and see if he's got them. Last time I check they were
pretty cheap (around $50 US) and I doubt it's a difficult repair.
