I dont have the specs in front of me, but I thought that we had 
decided a while ago on the list that ADB devices are completely 
powered off during sleep on the 2400, therefor making it safe (as far 
as the logic board is concerned) to swap things then.

Of course, operationally it may not work to just stick in the mouse 
during sleep, since it may require a restart to properly initialize.

I could be totally wrong though. Dont take this as an official 
position of sleep swapping ADB on the 2400.

They ARE completely powered down though in sleep. I have one of those 
flexible lamps that plugs in to the ADB port and it turns off when 
the book goes to sleep, therefor no power when asleep.
