Just some more thoughts on multiple monitors.

I had a RasterOps Nubus video card in my plain old Dock. Yes, multiple
monitors is very nice if you do any kind of design work. I also have dual
monitors setup on my PowerComputing desktop- best of all, any game which
uses floating palettes, like Civ 2 or Yoot Tower supports dual monitors.
Just put the palettes on one monitor, and the game screen on the other.

Yes, I believe that you can support 3 monitors (with 2 nubus cards and
built-in video), but I've not tried it. Somewhere on David Every's site
(www.mackido.com) he has an article about that.

As for audio, if you can find one, a Digidesign Audiomedia board will work
without any problems. Not only is it supported in high-end audio packages
(like Deck II or SoundEdit 16), but Digidesign provides a patch into the
Sound Manager which allows you to use it exactly as internal sound, albeit
with 44.1 KHz sampling rate, 16-bit accuracy, and full stereo goodness.
Then you just need an amplifier and speakers for it (it uses RCA-jack
line-ins and -outs).

My only problem- where do you go to find a video memory upgrade for the
internal video? And what type of memory is it?
