As there has been such a strong thread of discussing the pros and consof
docking devices, let me try and point this to a new direction. The only
flaw I find in the Apple minidock (otherwise a very fine piece) is the
VRAM being limited to 512 K, hence to 15"/256 colors external monitors,
with no upgrade possibility AFAIK. But then you can use the duo's screen
together with an external monitor, which in turn is not possible withthe
full docks, although these may be upgraded to 1MB of VRAM. Or am I
mistaken? Is there a way of using two external monitors with a duo dock-
e.g. when a graphics card is installed in the NuBus slot?
Most likely this question has already been discussed some time orother..
I would like to share the experience.
Edgar
