thanks for your incredible feedback, detailed and extremely helpful...I did get the laptop to restart, after several minutes of effort, actually more like an hour....I place my laptop on a slab of marble tile while dissipates the heat somewhat, and I have run this laptop for HOURS without any problem, so this trouble tonight really baffled me. I will consult with techs on tuesday to find out what might have caused the trouble, and yes, it could very well have been heat build up. thanks again for your valuable and helpful feedback....
