I'm just trying the GV, and everything seems a bit sluggy, I'll wait
and see how the Apple modem behaves.
The fax software isn't a reason for one or another, I'll be using my
favorite FaxSTF for that anyway.

Don't say that, I'm using the Geoport software as a software modem
for my Sagem ISDN adaptor on my G3. Works perfectly. If it doesn't
work with OS9, well, I won't use OS9. I'm still using 8.5.1, since I
got too many problems with older software with the new kernel on OS
8.6...

I'd check that out with the GV Duo and my MiniDock, but unfortunately
I got an international version MiniDock with the modem port being a
mini-DIN connector, just like the serial ports. Anyone got the pin
layout for that thing?
