I'll venture a comment based on less than one week experience with a
powerbook/duo (2300): I've had no problems with Word 6.0 or OS 8.1
running with the dock as the startup drive. Haven't had the chance yet
to set up the un-docked system. (I just pulled the hard drive out of my
Quadra 605, put in in the Duo dock, and reinstalled Open Transport to get
the PPC extensions.)
