Folks, thanks very much for all the advice--I finally got it to work (hot
syncing my palm V with my 2400c through infrared). Had to download a huge
18MB "Palm Extras" file from the Apple FTP site to get at four itty-bitty
but indispensable Apple IR extensions and tools (to go with the four IR
files on the Palm). Loaded them, restarted, then sync'ed--dang, it works!
Anyone else who needs the software and doesn't feel like a long download,
e-mail me offline and I'll send them to you.
