I just grabbed the extensions from my iBook and AirPort 1.1 works
great on my 2400/OS 8.6/OT 2.0.3.

That is normal. The way the software (or hardware) works, the 2400
can only recognize one network card at a time (in PC Card slots). I
have no idea why this is and it's a bit annoying.

I don't have any problem kicking the card out. I just turn TCP/IP
control panel to a configuration that doesn't have the WaveLAN
selected and has TCP/IP inactive. Then, it ejects right away. Since I
don't ever activate AppleTalk, I would suggest that you look there.

>So, anyone using a WaveLAN yet? under 8.6? ideas, impressions?

I am working just fine. It's a little less compatible with other
access points than the Lucent software. But, then, the Lucent
software requires a reboot for every config change.
