You're going to need to go to eBay to find what you need. The 3.0 version
of Photoshop should run nicely on your 2300 and cost about $50. Then look
for a Umax scanner which has a SCSI connection which connects easily to
your Dock. That'll run about another $60.
Camera versus scanner depends on a few factors. The scanner will be better
for higher quality pics to print out, but if all you're going to do is show
them on a monitor it's more than you need. The camera will be fine for web
pages but you'll have to find one with a serial cable to transfer the
pictures to your computer. Another option is to use a floppy converter that
takes the pics off the cameras memory card to your Dock. There's a great
link on the 2400 web site that gives great advice on buying Digital camera.
Video is a whole different ballgame and for the 2300, whatever you try will
probably be disappointing. The 2300 will only give you a small picture with
a lot of skipped frames and really isn't worth the effort. There are old
nubus cards that claim to do all the processing involved to digitize a
240X360 sized clip, but I don't know much about them.
Hope this helps.
