The camera will come with everything you need. Just make sure it is advertised with a
serial interface and has Macintosh drivers. I have an Agfa ePhoto CL30. Cost me $300
US and has both serial & USB interfaces, cables for both and drivers for Mac, Dos &
Windows.
Never heard of a SCSI interface on a digital camera. And your docks have serial ports
too, so this will not be an issue.
UMAX has an Astra MX3 for $149 with both SCSI & USB interface. I don't know how little
you want to pay, but that's the lowest I see any scanners for retail. I saw one for
$100, but don't know if it's SCSI. I doubt it, USB is the way of the present & future
for low cost devices. Keep trying eBay, I think Amazon has auction sites too, cause I
don't think you're going to find a cheap SCSI scanner retail. Otherwise, go for the
UMAX, they make good machines and it will carry over for use on your Pismo or other
USB machine you may buy in the future.
