This HD was marketed by MCE for use in the PB 2400, but I've also
heard reports that the thin drive, 9mm vs 12.(5?)mm did not provide
the appropriate contact for heat conduction. Paul V., Tom S. and
others can probably provide a bit more insight.
You might check mac2400 for various links and information on taking
your 2400 apart. Replacing the HD is pretty much like replacing the
processor card, i.e., major surgery. :-)
