Follow-up Comment #12, bug #25696 (project duplicity):
I have now tested against ProFTPd 1.3.1 and still cannot reproduce the
problem. If you have access to the target server, I would like to see the
/etc/proftpd.d/proftpd.conf file to see how it is setup. I can't imagine what
I would find, but we'll see.
If you could make a run with -v9 and post the full log from the commandline
down. Please don't munge anything but the password. There may be some info
that munging is clobbering.
